Erica Watson

Some of you may know about Erica Watson and some of you may not be in tune with your funny bones enough to know who she is. For those of you who do not know about Erica Watson let me tell you about her.

I met Erica Watson online looking for Comedy for my husband and I to watch. We wanted to see a comedian we had not already heard the jokes from a million people a million times over, so we searched through youtube and google and Erica Watson came up in the results. http://www.youtube.com/watch#v=yqrmW1-0t6w&feature=related she had me rolling in her stand up at carolines. I disagreed with her having to dis herself to be considered funny but other than that it was funny. My favorite joke how she wanted to be a white woman and how black folks think kissing on the first night was nasty. You have to watch it to laugh because I am no where near as funny as Erica.

I kept digging deeper for more laughs after that, and came across a show she did that i never saw on tv called "Oh no she didn't" I loved that show and wanted to see more. unfortunately the producers or others involved didn't see eye to eye with me. For some reason I can not find any links of those video's anymore. So coincidently I was working on the next issue of Solid Women's Magazine and asked Erica would she be apart of our next issue and she humbly accepted the request. By the graces of GOD i woke up today able to work on the next issue of Solid Women's Magazine.

As I was looking through all my feeds, leads and tweets I came across this tweet about Erica performing in New York City. I am so excited; hoping the show is after I deliver so i could laugh without worrying about if my water is going to break. So I followed the requirements, and part of the requirements is to blog it. I must admit i don't blog much because I don't know where to begin. Yet I am reluctant to admit that even if I don't win the tickets I am glad I blogged it because now I am over my fear of blogging thanks to Erica Watson; my inspiration for blogging today. Finally I see blogging and not such a tedious task.
